Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest of Richard McCormick's sons - was born at Woodland Hills, California in the year 1956. She was raised by an aunt who worked as an housewife, and her father who taught. Michael Dennis Kevin, her twin brothers. At a young age McCormick loved to sing as well as dance. She would also perform puppet shows for youngsters in the area. The fairytale story of her rise to fame began when she took home her first Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest in the age group of 6. This led to a call from an agent for talent Pat Domigan of the Jack Wormser Agency who asked if she'd like to be in show business. McCormick's first big job was during 1964, when she appeared in a commercial on TV for Mattels new doll Baby Pattaburp. The same year, she was featured in a second commercial on television for Chatty-Cathy's doll. Soon afterward, McCormick was commissioned by La Jolla Playhouse to play the character of the character Wind It up until It breaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick, which was chosen out of 1500 auditioned children, was cast as the oldest of three double-headed daughters, in The Brady Bunch (1969), starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed. The show ran for five seasons. McCormick in her memoir Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady And Finding My True Voice Published In 2008 McCormick revealed how during the fifth season of the television show, she was close to losing her their virginity to twin brother Barry Williams.
